Mamann Sandaluk LLP, a full-service immigration law firm located in downtown Toronto, is currently seeking an experienced Immigration Litigation Lawyer to join our team.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid or On-site
Salary: Commensurate with experience, generous benefits package
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- Admission to the Ontario Bar
- Must have 2+ years of experience in routine and complex matters before the IRCC, CBSA, all divisions of the IRB and the Federal Court
- Excellent knowledge of IRPA and of the Rules of the IRB and Federal Court and related case law
Main responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing complex and/or litigious immigration applications before the CBSA, Federal Court, IRCC
- Management of files from beginning to end including,
- Researching law, procedures and keeping track
- Applications for Leave and for Judicial Review before the Federal Court of Canada; Refugee Claims, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, Pre-Removal Risk Assessments, Appeals before the Immigration Appeal Division, Refugee Protection Division, Refugee Appeal Division
