Our client, a leader in the hydraulic products industry, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be part of the sales department supporting customer engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?

  • Handle customer enquiries in person, via e-mail, fax, or phone while providing technical hydraulic product support.
  • Manage pricing, purchasing, logistics, and repair of hose and tube assemblies to meet customer needs.
  • Supervise product inventory, including setting minimum and maximum levels to support customer base requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in invoicing, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Regularly review technical and marketing bulletins to maintain current product knowledge and provide training to staff.

  • A strong background and knowledge of hydraulic products, schematics, and systems.
  • A desire to investigate new business opportunities to enhance relationships with existing and new customers.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment with the Branch Manager and fellow staff members.
  • A commitment to improving the company’s profitability through revenue generation, productivity increase, and expense reduction.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work extra hours to meet customer needs.
