Job Description:

The HVAC Support Specialist reports to the Learning and Development Specialist. They are responsible for providing technical assistance to field technicians by troubleshooting HVAC system issues and providing guidance needed to deliver a superior customer experience. The Support Specialist will track all calls and support tickets submitted and will use this data to arrange additional training and encourage career advancement.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Responsible for providing technical assistance in an effective and efficient manner by utilizing various technical media.
Share industry updates and insights to enhance the team’s technical proficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues over the phone or through remote assistance.
Maintain detailed records of technical issues, solutions provided, and follow-up actions.
Conduct training sessions for in-house staff on new HVAC technologies, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
Identify areas for process improvement and actively contribute to the enhancement of technical support procedures.
Responsible to keep up to date with technical standards, Regulations, Operational Procedures and Product Specifications.

Qualifications Include:

Gas Fitter B and Refrigeration journeyperson tickets
Proven experience in technical support within the HVAC industry.
In-depth knowledge of residential heating systems, air conditioning systems and IAQ products.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract maintained.
Must have a minimum of 2 years recent relative HVAC industry field experience.
Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to servicing HVAC equipment.
Must have working knowledge of common software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Clarify and the Internet.
