<p>Our client is a <b>leading Canadian infrastructure and construction organization</b> delivering major projects across the country. We are looking for a <b>hands-on HR Business Partner</b> to support project teams, operations leaders, and joint venture partnerships.</p><p>If you thrive in operational environments, enjoy being close to project execution, and have strong employee relations and workforce planning experience — this is a great opportunity.</p><p><b>What You Will Do</b></p><p>You will play a key role supporting field and project operations by:</p><p>• Leading <b>workforce planning</b>, including mobilization/demobilization, rotations, and succession planning</p><p>• Partnering with Joint Venture HR teams and maintaining a strong connection with seconded employees</p><p>• Managing <b>employee relations</b>, conducting investigations, and supporting performance management and conflict resolution</p><p>• Supporting <b>compensation reviews</b>, promotions, salary recommendations, and STIP-related processes</p><p>• Overseeing <b>disability case management</b> and coordinating return-to-work and accommodation plans</p><p>• Coaching leaders on performance management, IDPs, and progressive discipline</p><p>• Facilitating talent reviews (9-box), capability assessments, and development planning</p><p>• Supporting corporate HR programs, new initiatives, and training sessions</p><p>• Providing HR reporting, audits, and systems support (SAP experience is an asset)</p><p>• Mentoring HR Administrators and ensuring accurate process execution</p><p><b>What You Bring</b></p><p>We are looking for someone with:</p><p>✔ 5+ years progressive HR experience</p><p>✔ Experience supporting <b>construction, engineering, industrial, energy, utilities, mining, or manufacturing</b>environments</p><p>✔ Strong <b>employee relations</b> experience, including investigations and performance management</p><p>✔ Background in <b>workforce planning</b>, rotations, or project staffing</p><p>✔ Experience with <b>disability management</b> and return-to-work programs</p><p>✔ Exposure to compensation cycles and salary recommendations</p><p>✔ Comfort operating in a fast-paced, project-driven, matrixed environment</p><p>✔ Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills</p><p>✔ SAP HR or ERP experience (asset)</p><p>✔ CHRL designation or in progress (asset)</p><p>If you enjoy operational HR, partnering closely with project execution teams, and making a real impact on people and performance — we’d like to hear from you.</p>Create Your Resume First
