<strong >Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner</strong><br /><strong>Job Description</strong><p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This role requires close collaboration with the HR Partner to ensure cohesive national HR operations. The ideal candidate will manage talent recruitment and retention, develop organizational workflows, oversee benefits management, and drive employee engagement initiatives. A strong personality and the ability to build trust with team members are essential.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Partner closely with the HR Partner to ensure national agreement and unity.</li><li>Manage talent recruitment and retention processes.</li><li>Develop and implement organizational workflows and mapping.</li><li>Oversee benefits management and disciplinary actions.</li><li>Drive employee engagement, including work and life plan management.</li><li>Manage claims in coordination with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks related to HR responsibilities.</li></ul><strong>Essential Skills</strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience in the HR function.</li><li>Bilingual proficiency in French.</li><li>Experience with union agreements and collective bargaining.</li><li>Expertise in talent recruitment and retention.</li><li>Proficiency in workflow building and organizational mapping.</li><li>Experience in benefits and payroll management.</li><li>Strong employee engagement skills.</li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong><ul><li>Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset.</li><li>Must be comfortable traveling to various locations at least once a month.</li><li>1+ years of experience with HRIS systems, ideally the person.</li><li>A diploma or degree, preferably in Business Administration with a focus on HR.</li><li>PCP Designation is a plus.</li><li>Bilingual capabilities are desirable.</li><li>Strong adaptability and creative problem-solving skills.</li></ul><strong>Work Environment</strong><p>This role offers a flexible work environment with the option to work from home three days a week. Attendance in the office is required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Participation in social committee functions, executive visits, and companywide meetings is mandatory. The team meets every Friday morning for team-building activities and to review ongoing initiatives.
