<p>Position Overview</p><p>The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, efficient use of resources, and a motivated, well-trained team. This role is hands-on and highly visible — the ideal candidate will lead by example, jumping in where needed, while maintaining a strategic focus on service quality, profitability, and operational excellence.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Operational Management</p><ul><li>Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, guest services, and maintenance.</li><li>Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service quality.</li><li>Monitor occupancy levels, room rates, and availability; work with sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including fire safety, sanitation, and licensing laws.</li><li>Maintain an active presence throughout the property to engage with guests and staff.</li></ul><p>Guest Experience & Service Quality</p><ul><li>Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively resolving complaints and service issues.</li><li>Implement guest feedback systems and follow up on service improvements.</li><li>Uphold brand standards in presentation, cleanliness, and service delivery.</li><li>Coordinate VIP guest experiences, special requests, and events.</li></ul><p>Financial & Revenue Management</p><ul><li>Prepare, manage, and monitor hotel budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.</li><li>Track and analyze financial performance, controlling costs while maintaining quality.</li><li>Collaborate with the sales team to develop seasonal promotions and packages.</li><li>Ensure proper inventory control and cost management in all departments.</li></ul><p>Staff Leadership & Development</p><ul><li>Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff to ensure service excellence.</li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and implement staff development plans.</li><li>Manage scheduling to optimize staffing levels according to occupancy.</li><li>Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.</li></ul><p>Property & Facilities Management</p><ul><li>Oversee preventative maintenance schedules to keep facilities in peak condition.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and upgrades.</li><li>Ensure all equipment and amenities meet brand and guest expectations.</li></ul><p>Qualifications & Skills</p><p>Education & Experience:</p><ul><li>Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in hotel or resort management, including supervisory responsibilities.</li><li>Proven track record of meeting financial targets and improving service standards.</li></ul><p>Skills & Competencies:</p><ul><li>Strong leadership and people management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Proficient in hotel management software (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems.</li><li>Financial acumen with budget management and revenue optimization experience.</li><li>Ability to stay calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset.</li></ul><p>Working Conditions</p><ul><li>Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Fast-paced environment with a high degree of guest interaction.</li><li>Combination of office work and on-floor presence.</li></ul><p>Perks & Benefits</p><ul><li>Competitive salary range commensurate with experience, with additional performance-based bonuses tied to operational and financial results.</li><li>Complimentary seasons pass, and discounts on resort activities and services.</li><li>Staff discounts on food, beverage, and retail.</li><li>Access to training, development, and career advancement opportunities.</li><li>On-site parking.</li><li>A work environment surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and outdoor adventures.</li></ul><p>How to Apply<br><br>We'd love to hear from you.
