We are recruiting *Registered Nurses *to add to a few nursing support teams for young adult or pediatric clients in *Nanaimo, BC *and surrounding areas*. *This job will entail providing 1:1 care for a client in the home or school environments. We have a variety of client placements available (i.e. clients with a Central Line, tube feeds, or a bi-pap machine)
* Full time, part time, or casual work available in multiple homes.
* We are looking for a nurse to work Wed/Thurs with a client with medical needs, providing respite and taking client into the community.
Specialty training is provided based on client care needs.
Please note: We are not a traveling nurse company so we do not have access to staff housing
*Qualifications:*
* Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
* Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
* Demonstrated ability to work independently.
* Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
