Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role requires a blend of caregiving skills, patience, and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and comfort for our clients.
Duties
- Assist client with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
- Administer medication reminders and support clients with their prescribed health routines.
- Offer specialized care for individual with disabilities.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while following care plans set by healthcare professionals.
- Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between client homes.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving training is advantageous.
