We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects. We&#39;re seeking skilled <strong>Heavy Equipment Operators</strong> to join our roster that have experience with excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, and other specialized equipment. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspects equipment to ensure it is in safe operable condition and any servicing has been completed</li><li>Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company&#39;s operating safety policies and procedures </li><li>Ensure company equipment and material is maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner </li><li>Properly reports any mechanical or safety problems with the equipment in accordance with company procedures </li><li>Proactively communicate with foreman, superintendent, and coworkers</li><li>Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation as required </li></ul><p><strong><strong><strong>Qualifications:</strong></strong></strong></p><ul><li>2+ Years of Equipment Operating Experience</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver&#39;s License with a Driver&#39;s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Level C</li><li>H2S Alive</li><li>Common Safety Orientation</li><li>TDG</li><li>WHMIS</li><li>Loader Operator Certification </li><li>Drug and alcohol testing may be required</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance</li><li>Exposure to noise, dust, fumes and extreme weather conditions</li><li>Physically demanding with heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)</li><li>Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)</li></ul><p><em><em>We appreciate and thank all applicants in advance for their interest in Sideworx Connect, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
