By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise.</p><h3>Bombardier’s Benefits Program</h3><p>With our employees’ well-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following:</p><ul><li>Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more)</li><li>Competitive base salary</li><li>Retirement savings plan</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Tele Health Program</li></ul><h3>What are your contributions to the team?</h3><ul><li>Report into the Vice-president Engineering – Aircraft Design and Development</li><li>Provide technical leadership to support primary company goals including program oversight, production ramp-up, cost improvement initiatives and in-service fleet performance improvements.</li><li>Oversee integration and coordination with multiple departments, functions and suppliers</li><li>Act as the engineering leader with key business Leadership teams on the program</li><li>Have Overall responsibility for Aircraft Platform and coordination with the respective IPDT’s</li><li>Interface with Program Management Office for the Type Design IPDT activities</li><li>Set the priorities for the associated IPDTs to ensure execution of the technical aspects of safety and configuration</li><li>Type Design Responsibility and act as the Applicant with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and represent engineering at the aircraft platform Continuing Airworthiness Review Board (CARB) activities</li><li>Manage Cross Functional Engineering and Supplier Teams, supported by the Engineering Functional Organization and their respective fully deployed engineering teams, and the Office of the Fellows, in the execution of respective aircraft platform updates and derivatives, including in-service and production support</li><li>Coordinate with the Office of the Fellows for technical guidance and validation to resolve</li></ul><h3>How to thrive in this role?</h3><ul><li>You have a university bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.</li><li>You possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Aircraft Design andIntegration, including demonstrated experience across multiple disciplines</li><li>You have demonstrated experience in leading IPDTs on one or more aircraft development programs.</li><li>You have experience of communicating with executive level and external stakeholders.</li><li>Experience as Transport Canada DAD or FAA DER is an asset.</li></ul><p>Attributes:</p><ul><li>Ability to integrate across multiple engineering disciplines to resolve problems</li><li>Leadership and decision/making capability</li><li>Track record of innovation</li></ul><p><b>Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!</b></p><p>Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position.
