<h3><b>The Role</b></h3>
<p>We looking for a <b>Growth Partner</b>. A consultative seller who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll split your time between nurturing high-quality inbound leads and driving targeted outbound opportunities within Canada’s innovation ecosystem.</p>
<p>You’ll engage directly with founders, CFOs, and innovation leaders, helping them navigate funding strategies that fuel growth while preserving equity. Success in this role means balancing short-term performance with long-term relationship building and ensuring clients experience a seamless transition from sales to service.</p>
<p>This is a quota-carrying position with a <b>$1.6M annual revenue goal</b> and <b>$140K OTE</b> (base + commission).</p>

<h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul>
<li><b>Inbound:</b> Manage warm leads from marketing campaigns, partnerships, and events; conduct discovery calls; qualify fit; and close opportunities.</li>
<li><b>Outbound:</b> Develop and execute personalized outreach to founders, CFOs, and executives in target sectors; leverage LinkedIn, Apollo, and email sequences.</li>
<li><b>Consultative selling:</b> Understand clients’ R&D and innovation roadmaps to position the right funding solutions (SR&ED, grants, loans, etc.).</li>
<li><b>Pipeline management:</b> Maintain accurate records in HubSpot; forecast revenue; and report progress regularly to the VP of Sales.</li>
<li><b>Cross-functional collaboration:</b> Partner closely with the Service team to ensure a seamless handoff and assist with client onboarding, ensuring expectations, documentation, and next steps are clear.</li>
<li><b>Operational alignment:</b> Work with Marketing and Grants teams to tailor proposals and ensure consistent client messaging.</li>
<li><b>Market awareness:</b> Track trends in funding programs, venture activity, and government incentives to identify new opportunities.</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>What You Bring</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>3+ years in <b>B2B sales or business development</b>, ideally in consulting, SaaS, or financial services.</li>
<li>Experience with <b>both inbound and outbound sales</b> and managing full‑cycle deals from lead to close.</li>
<li>Proven ability to <b>meet or exceed revenue targets</b> in a quota‑carrying role.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, you can speak credibly with founders and executives.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement tools.</li>
<li>Curiosity, accountability, and a genuine interest in helping clients access capital for growth.</li>
<li>A team‑first mindset, you collaborate naturally with delivery teams to ensure clients experience a premium, frictionless start.</li>

<h3><b>Compensation</b></h3>

<li><b>Base Salary:</b> $70,000 CAD</li>
<li><b>On-Target Earnings (OTE):</b> $140,000 CAD
