DOC247 is a dynamic network of primary care clinics across Alberta, focused on improving access to healthcare through hybrid delivery models that combine in-person and virtual consultations. We are dedicated to addressing Canada’s physician shortage by creating a supportive environment for both local and internationally trained doctors.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced General Practitioner to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality primary care services, both virtually and in person, to patients across Alberta. Physicians licensed with the CPSA and those in the final stages of licensure are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions

• Promote preventative care and health education

• Collaborate with allied health professionals for coordinated patient care

• Provide virtual care through secure telehealth platforms

• Adhere to provincial healthcare regulations and clinical best practices

Required Qualifications

• Fully licensed (or eligible for independent licensure) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)

• Eligible for CMPA coverage

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general or family practice (preferred)

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable using EMR and telehealth systems

• Flexible hybrid work model (virtual & in-person)

• Full administrative and licensing support
