Your Role and Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive general neurology consultations and contributing to our acute stroke call coverage.
- Offer expert assessment and management in our TIA and Urgent Neurology clinics, guided by the Division Chief.
- Develop a thriving community-based neurology practice to ensure seamless outpatient access and continuity of care for patients across the region.
- Participate in our regional Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT) call rotation (1 : 4) with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, if you possess EVT training.
- Contribute to collaborative neurovascular rounds to optimize patient management and outcomes.
What you bring to Our Team :
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Neurology.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Completion of a residency in general neurology, complemented by fellowship training in one or more of the following subspecialties : Stroke (with or without EVT training)Multiple Sclerosis
- Epilepsy Neuromuscular Diseases Chronic Pain Dementia and Movement Disorders
