Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MRP is a plus.
