The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Incoming General Manager to join our team.
About Us:
We are dedicated to organizing events that celebrate community traditions, display local talent, and entertain residents and visitors. As Incoming General Manager, you will be key to the success and growth of our events and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee events, including the annual exhibition and stampede.
- Manage daily operations for seamless organizational function.
- Prepared to work extended hours during peak event times.
- Build strong relationships with staff, sponsors, vendors, shareholders, and all other stakeholders.
- Lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration.
- Drive strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership in event management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Background knowledge in financial, agriculture and sales marketing an asset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic and innovative mindset.
