Position: General Manager (Kamloops, BC)
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Kamloops. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the car wash site, managing a team of employees, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and optimizing site performance. The GM will work closely with the company president to execute business strategies, drive growth, and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of the car wash facility
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to maintain performance and service standards
- Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and manage budgets
- Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent service delivery and issue resolution
- Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
- Drive operational improvements, optimize site throughput, and manage quality control
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the site
- Work with the senior leadership team to meet revenue goals and KPIs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills
- Mechanically inclined with an understanding of equipment operations and maintenance
- Customer-focused mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities
- Financially literate; able to manage budgets and analyze performance metrics
- Experience in the car wash industry is an asset
- Must be a local resident or willing to relocate to Kamloops, BC.
