This position is open to candidates who can work remotely from the United States and Canada.

Expretio Technologies is an innovative company focused on pricing optimization and transport intelligence. For over two decades, Expretio has been dedicated to developing advanced AI models and software solutions to support transport operators in increasing revenues and offering competitive services to passengers. Our solutions are tailored for the transport industry and are used by rail and bus operators worldwide.

We are seeking a General Manager to lead Expretio into its next phase of success. The General Manager will build strong customer and partner relationships, understand and anticipate customer needs, and gain deep knowledge of the competitive environment to differentiate the company. They should be a visionary with a detailed understanding of operations to drive business success. The role requires effective negotiation with government and customer agencies, financial officials, and other executives, while championing Modaxo’s business and legal practices.



The success of the General Manager will be measured by Net Revenue growth, bookings, BQR, Core ratios, attrition, working capital ratio, IRR for new initiatives, employee attrition, and CX.

Leadership

  • Develop corporate mission and communicate strategic objectives, policies, and operating plans.
  • Drive innovation across processes, R&D, initiatives, and M&A input.
  • Manage P&L forecasts and results regularly.
  • Implement continuous improvements for efficiency and value.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with HR on recruiting, development, and retention programs.
  • Oversee sales coverage and compensation models.
  • Work with marketing and sales to ensure long-term growth.

Program Management

  • Govern projects to ensure scope, budget, schedule, and quality adherence.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition processes.
  • Escalate issues with projects as needed.

Customer Care

  • Implement and oversee long-term customer care programs and manage attrition.
  • Execute solutions adoption programs for clients.
  • Manage customer satisfaction surveys and communication tools.

Research and Development

  • Balance R&D and maintenance investments to maximize growth and retention.
  • Establish and execute clear product plans responsive to market needs.

The Person

  • Conceptual, systems, and design thinking skills.
  • Understanding of the global passenger transportation industry, especially in the Americas and Europe.
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years management and P&L experience.
  • GTM-oriented mindset for growth.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within North America and abroad.
  • Must be located in the US or Canada.
  • Fluency in French or Spanish is preferred.
