With a reputation for delivering complex projects with precision, efficiency, and safety, we are committed to excellence in execution and client satisfaction.</p><p><b>Position Summary</b></p><p>Reporting to the President, the General Manager (GM) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of Meseyton Construction’s heavy civil construction operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and financial performance while driving operational efficiency and business growth. The GM must exhibit exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and leadership skills to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3>

<b>Strategic Operations & Project Execution</b>
<ul>
<li>Oversee all project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and budgets.</li>
<li>Implement rigorous quality control measures and ensure adherence to industry best practices, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Develop and enforce operational processes that enhance productivity, minimize risk, and uphold the highest safety standards.</li>
<li>Conduct detailed project reviews, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Drive cost control and efficiency through meticulous project budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.</li>

<b>Financial & Business Performance</b>
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring financial targets align with strategic business objectives.</li>
<li>Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), financial reports, and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to optimize costs and enhance profitability while maintaining project excellence.</li>
<li>Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals and risk management strategies.</li>

<h3>Qualifications & Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).</li>
<li>Strong expertise in contract negotiation, risk management, project controls, and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in managing P&L, financial reporting, and operational budgeting with a strong focus on cost management.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and financial analysis platforms.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.</li>
<li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.</li>
<li>Preferred Certifications & Licenses: PMP, PE, or equivalent industry certification (preferred).</li>
