Job Summary:
As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in warehouse operations. This position involves various tasks related to picking, packing, and ensuring that products are prepared for shipment. You will be required to walk and remain active for extended periods throughout your 8-hour shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking: Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Packing: Safely package products to ensure they are protected during transit, following company standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for defects or damages before packing to maintain quality assurance.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- The position requires working in a warehouse environment with normal temperature and noise levels.
- Must wear Safety Shoes inside the Warehouse.
Pay Rate: $17.20/hr.
