General Helper

Nass is looking for a general helper/Assembler for the Automotive manufacturing company in Brampton.

PAY RATE: $19/hr

_ Experience in an Automotive company is a must_

***Should have G and Forklift License***

Job Duties:

• Carry out general plant tasks, such as assisting toolmakers, machine fitters, drillers, sawers, and painters.
• Use a variety of tools, machines, and equipment From shift to shift, give your supervisor and coworkers the information they need.
• Perform the activities as instructed safely and understand how to lock out all energy sources, including stored energy Always adhere to the safety regulations, guidelines, and practises in all situations.
• Inform the authorities of any unexpected conditions, and take part in and support Continued Development responsible for maintaining a clean machine shop Make sure our consumers receive products of the highest calibre possible.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of manufacturing-related work experience;
• Prior tooling or machine shop expertise is a plus.
• Basic understanding of tooling, aptitude for interpreting blueprints, and aptitude for math
• A high school diploma is required.
• Lift 30 to 40 pounds On the job.
• Punctuality is essential.
• Communication abilities in English.
