As General Counsel you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance for Daniola Corporation on a wide range of matters related to our platform’s operations.

This role will involve reviewing and interpreting laws and regulations, identifying and assessing potential legal risks, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, providing guidance on corporate governance and intellectual property, representing the company in legal proceedings and negotiations, and informing the board of directors and senior management of legal developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret laws and regulations related to blockchain technology, digital assets, securities, and anti–money laundering (AML) regulations.


Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Negotiate and draft commercial contracts, including agreements with customers, vendors, and partners.

Provide guidance on corporate governance, intellectual property, and other legal matters.

Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.


Supervise and mentor in–house legal staff and outside counsel.

Inform the board of directors and senior management of material legal developments and their potential impact on the company.

Act as a liaison between the company and government regulators and other external parties.

Review and provide guidance on data protection, privacy and compliance.


Advice on compliance with laws and regulations related to artificial intelligence and its applications.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations and update the platform’s compliance program accordingly.


Qualifications:

Law degree from an accredited university and membership in good standing with a state bar.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, with at least 3 years experience in senior management or general counsel position.

Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Experience with commercial contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property.


Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
