Our client, a leading freight and logistics company, seeks a General Counsel & Secretary to join their executive team. This is a hands-on, in-office role best suited for a senior lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of broad corporate commercial experience, preferably gained in a public company environment and with a background in transportation, manufacturing, or adjacent sectors. The ideal candidate will bring additional expertise in contract negotiation, compliance, technology contracting, labour/employment and governance.
