Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Duties * Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. * Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. * Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. * Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial data. * Support financial auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports. * Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Sage, or Xero for daily transactions and reporting. * Collaborate with senior accountants on corporate finance projects as needed. * Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick books online and desktop, Net Suite Sage) is a plus. * Knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices. * Experience with bank reconciliation processes is desirable. * Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
