  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank transactions and intercompany accounts
  • Assist with monthly close processes and financial statement preparation

  • Maintain subsidiary ledgers and prepare supporting schedules
  • Verify and process accounts payable and receivable entries
  • Support GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT filings
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting and month-end accruals
  • Support the finance team with audits, year-end prep, and ad hoc reporting
  • Help manage data in accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online and others)
  • Ensure proper filing, record keeping, and compliance with internal controls

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and month-end processes
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and inventory systems
  • Strong Excel skills: you’re comfortable with pivot tables and data organization
  • Detail-oriented mindset and a knack for spotting discrepancies
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation (or actively working toward it) is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP implementations is a bonus
