Full Stack Developer
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Full Stack Developer with Angular, Java, and Spring framework experience to be placed at our client, a Big Five Bank.
- Client: Big Five Bank
- Terms: 12-month rolling contract
- Location: Hybrid – twice weekly, GTA only, Downtown Toronto
High Level Breakdown:
- Full stack developers: 6+years’ experience
- Angular 9+
- Java back-end experience (Java 8+)
- Spring Framework
- Agile (Ideally candidates who had angular experience then moved into java)
Role Requirements:
- Responsible for the design, development and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for computing applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of XML, Java, JSP and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish the project.
Key Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required. 5 to 7 years’ experience required.
Interview Process: Interviews will take place this in two rounds during the same week this month.
