Job Description

<p>We are seeking a skilled Wood Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial framing, works well independently or with a crew, and takes pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Construct, install, and repair wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components</li><li>Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans</li><li>Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools</li><li>Install windows, doors, sheathing, blocking, and hardware</li><li>Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards</li><li>Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area</li><li>Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and company policies</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Proven experience as a wood framing carpenter (2-5 years preferred)</li><li>Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans</li><li>Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions</li><li>Reliable transportation and valid driver's license</li><li>Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills</li></ul><p>Preferred (but not required)</p><ul><li>Experience with commercial framing</li><li>OSHA 10/30 certification</li><li>Ability to lead small crews</li></ul><p>Benefits (Customize as needed)</p><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Health, dental, vision insurance</li><li>Overtime opportunities</li><li>Paid time off / holidays</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Training and growth opportunities</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: No less than 35 per week</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Store discount</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
