*Summary*
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Field Supervisor based out of our main branch in Fort Saskatchewan. This position will be based local to our shop but will require field visits in remote locations with occasional out of town work. oversee multiple divisions, including the Rig Vac & Water, Industrial Cleaning and Fluid Hauling. In this leadership role, you will supervise, mentor, and train teams of operators responsible for rig vacuum services, water hauling, industrial cleaning, fluid hauling and spill response projects in remote and challenging environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vacuum trucks, fluid hauling, industrial cleaning and oilfield or industrial service operations, especially on drilling rigs, to fully understand the scope of work. This role demands a proactive leader who can troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, bring solutions, promote safety standards, and ensure high-quality service delivery across all divisions.
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the Lead Hands of each division to coordinate daily tasks, ensure efficient workflow, and complete projects on time. The supervisor must effectively communicate and collaborate with the Lead Hands to ensure operational and reliability goals are met as well as safety standards are upheld.
This role requires being on-call, with occasional irregular hours as necessary. You will lead by example, promote solution-based thinking and support your team in delivering reliable, efficient and safe operations.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise daily field operations and ensure compliance within Bad Boyz Oilfield Services safety guidelines.
* Schedule, manage and coordinate crew activities on-site to optimize efficiency.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
* Supervise, mentor, and train operators across the Rig Vac & Water Division, Industrial Cleaning & Spill Remediation, and Water & Fluid Hauling Division
* Troubleshoot mechanical & operational issues and provide solutions, utilizing hands-on experience with vac trucks, tank trucks, steamers and industrial equipment
* Provide training mentoring and support to team members on operational and safety procedures.
* Coordinate daily operational tasks with the relevant people of each division to ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule
* Preform mechanical troubleshooting and complete medium level mechanical repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and report on project progress.
* Promote health and safety policies, hazard recognition, incident / near miss reporting, and foster a safety-first environment
* Exercise good judgment and make decisions to ensure team safety and operational success
* Engage in effective communication with customers to understand their needs, address concerns promptly, and ensure a positive experience that fosters customer satisfaction and loyalty
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the oilfield services industry.
* Supervisorial experience of four or more employees
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of Vac and Fluid Hauling operations.
* Minimum of 4 years experience operating vacuum trucks, Fluid hauling or Heavy Trucks is Required. *Vac Truck Experience on drilling rigs is highly preferred to understand the scope of work *
* Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
* Ability to work independently, lead teams, and handle multiple priorities effectively
* Excellent communication skills for effective team management.
* Knowledge of oilfield, industrial and DOT safety standards and regulations
* Travel to multiple job sites and branch locations as required.
* Bad Boyz Oilfield services operates 24hrs a day and having to work outside of regular hours and be on call due to operational issues will be required.
