Job Summary:
The Field Service Representative is responsible for managing and executing all service-related activities within the assigned territory, ensuring optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction. This role combines technical expertise, customer support, and training responsibilities to minimize equipment downtime, deliver high-quality interventions, and promote SINOBOOMs products and services. The Field Service Representative will evaluate hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, provide technical solutions, organize and conduct training sessions for employees and customers, and collaborate closely with the sales team to support machine deliveries and service offers. Travel within the territory is required to maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all service activities for assigned customers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using knowledge, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Organize regular customer visits, provide call-in support, and technical guidance.
- Manage and report machine downtime cases, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
- Deliver internal and external training sessions on products, operations, and technical topics.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, training, and maintenance data.
- Support service sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for parts, services, and training.
- Coordinate with the sales team to support new machine delivery and customer onboarding.
- Ensure adherence to company travel policies while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Uphold SINOBOOMs brand image and service quality standards.
- Technical Diploma in Electro-Mechanical or related field.
- Must be fluent in French.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of aerial lifting equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Flexible and proactive, with a commitment to supporting company growth initiatives.
