This role provides ongoing opportunities to support different families in your region.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Job Type: </strong>Part-time; Ability to provide in-person services primarily during the week between 3:00-9:00 pm and on weekends.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Reimbursement:</strong> Starting from $23-$30/hour <em>(inclusive of the $3/hour Permanent Wage Enhancement provided by the Ontario Government); </em>mileage per km when travelling with client; expenses (meals and activities).</p><p><br /></p><p><strong><span >Requirements/Qualifications:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Certificate, diploma or degree in a social service discipline (i.e. Child and Youth Care, Developmental Service Worker, etc.) from a recognized college or university.</li><li>Broad Record Check (obtained from local Police).</li><li>Child Welfare Record Check (obtained from local Children’s Aid Society).</li><li>Driver’s Abstract; Class “G” Driver’s License; ability to provide transportation for services .</li><li>Vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.</li><li>Verbal De-escalation Certification (e.g. CIT, NCI, TCI, UMAB) with experience in crisis prevention.</li><li>Standard First Aid with Infant/Child CPR - Level C.</li><li>Personal computer and email address.</li></ul></p></p>
