<h3>Family Physician - Fee For Service Brandon Medical Clinic</h3><p>6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants</p><p>Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>BRANDON CLINIC MEDICAL</strong></p><p>Job Title: Family Physician (NOC 3112)</p><p>Work Location and Mailing Address: 620 Dennis Street, Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, R7A 5E7</p><p>Type of work: Full time</p><p>Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri 8am–5pm</p><p>Walk-In Service: Mon-Fri 9am–8pm | Sat 10am–4pm | Sun 10am–2pm</p><p>Hourly Salary or Annual Salary: Fee for service</p><p>Vacation: 1 month per year</p><p>Benefits: Signing Bonus, Group Insurance coverage for travel, extended health, dental and life insurance</p><p><strong>Main Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health</li><li>Prescribe and administer medications and treatments</li><li>Provide acute care management</li><li>Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases</li><li>Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention</li><li>Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues</li><li>Perform patient advocacy role</li><li>Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care</li><li>Provide continuous care to patients</li><li>Supervise home care services</li><li>Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authorities</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Must be eligible for licensure with the College of physicians and surgeons of Manitoba</li><li>Must be a member in good standing with the Canadian Medical Protective Association</li><li>CCFP preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>Compensation is derived from Fee-For-Service income</p><p><strong>Primary Site Location:</strong></p><p>Brandon Medical Clinic- 620 Dennis Street, Brandon, MB</p><p><strong>Contact Information</strong></p><p>Mr. Darcy Bell, CPA, CGA</p><p>Chief Executive Officer</p><p>Brandon Clinic Medical Corporation</p><p>620 Dennis Street</p><p>Brandon, MB R7A 5E7</p><p>204-571-7173 belld@brandonclinic.com</p>
