Badesha Law is a client-focused and growing law firm specializing in Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate in the Greater Toronto Area.
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk to join our dynamic team.
- Draft and manage legal documents for family law matters including divorce, separation, custody, access, support, and property division.
- Prepare financial statements, motion materials, affidavits, and court forms under the Family Law Rules.
- Organize disclosure documents and mediation materials.
- Maintain client files and case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional and timely manner.
- Schedule and coordinate court dates, client meetings, and mediations.
- Provide general administrative support to lawyers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent legal education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family law within Ontario.
- Strong understanding of the Family Law Rules and court procedures.
- Proficiency with DivorceMate, Microsoft Office, and legal management software.
- Exceptional drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
