LA TAQUERIA BC IS HIRING FOR ALL FOH & BOH POSITIONS FOR ALL LOCATIONSLa Taqueria was born in 2009, through the idea of creating a taco stand, which resembles the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. These tacos are usually the best, a real Mexican tradition.We make our tacos from traditional recipes with local, organic and sustainable products, when possible. Our menu offers different types of fillings which can be served as a Taco (soft tortilla, made locally & homemade style) or as a Quesadilla. and Burritos. We also carry some rotating items.Our website: http://www.lataqueria.com/Responsibilities: Greet and farewell to all customers Take orders and make recommendations Performs quality assurance with our guests on a regular basis Sanitize the tables and seats; ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guests.
Sweep/broom the surrounding floors when necessary. Empty trash containers including bathrooms Maintain all stations well stocked(water, napkins, cutlery, glassware, tableware, bathrooms, etc) Deliver food and drinks to our guests Assist the dish pit when needed; wash dirty dishes, glasses, and appliances used by FOH Set up the opening and closing of the restaurant. You must maintain Liquor, Wine, and beer sales at the percentage required. Please note these responsibilities are not limited to the above listed and you might not be stationary to a specific section at all times.
