Fairgrounds is looking for a vibrant, people-first individual to join our team as an Experience Creatorsomeone who brings positivity, enthusiasm, and professionalism to everything they do.</p><p>If you love engaging with others, have a passion for racket sports (especially pickleball!), and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you!</p><p><strong>About the Role: </strong>Experience Creator</p><p>As an Experience Creator, you&#39;ll be the face of <span >Fairgroundsensuring</span> every member and guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming, and elevated club experience. You&#39;ll also lead and support our on-site pickleball programming, helping create fun, inclusive, and high-quality play opportunities for all skill levels.</p><p>Working closely with the Site Manager, you&#39;ll help maintain daily operations, foster community, and uphold the energy and service standards that define the Fairgrounds experience. This role is a key part of shaping our community and delivering on the promise of what Fairgrounds can be.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service to all guests visiting the pro shop, creating a welcoming and fun environment</li><li>Assist members checking into the club and answering any questions in regards to court times, memberships and general inquiries,</li><li>Assist customers in finding and selecting the right pickleball equipment, apparel, and accessories. </li><li>Facilitate basic Pickleball programming (round robins, open plays, etc)</li><li>Offer product recommendations and knowledge to ensure customers make informed purchasing decisions. </li><li>Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and courts. </li><li>Do routine walk throughs to ensure all parts of the facility are running smoothly. </li><li>Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Fairgrounds&#39; products and services, effectively communicating their features and benefits to customers. </li><li>Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. </li><li>Assist with social media when applicable. </li><li>Promptly log and report any security incident/concerns when they arise. </li><li>Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, seeking resolutions when needed. </li><li>Track member satisfaction and log data as you see fit. </li><li>Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting periodic stock checks. <br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or pro shop environment. </li><li>Basic knowledge of racket sports, particularly Pickleball and/or Padel </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. </li><li>Strong verbal communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively. </li><li>Willingness to learn about pickleball equipment and accessories. </li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy when processing sales transactions. </li><li>Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. </li><li>Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required. </li></ul><p><strong>Schedule: </strong></p><ul><li>Between 3 and 8 hour shifts </li><li>Evening shift </li><li>Morning shift </li><li>Weekend availability </li></ul><p><strong>Rate of pay:</strong></p><p>$18-$20 /Hourly (depending on experience)<br><br></p><p>We appreciate all applicants for their interest in joining our team, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
