Executive Pastry Chef – 5* Prestigious Hotel
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
Location: British Columbia

The Company:
I’m working with a luxurious global 5-star resort group & helping them in their search for an Executive Pastry Chef to join their team in Whistler.

Responsibilities:
Develop new menus and test new recipes
Oversee buffets, restaurants, special events and catering parties
Monitor and control food and labor costs within the allotted budgets
Inventory & food costs
Motivate and develop an effective team to achieve common goals
Delegate tasks and responsibility to ensure high performance
Manage change to enable individuals and team to meet current and future business needs
Schedule, organize, supervise, and communicate effectively to all employees

Ideal Candidate:
3+ years’ experience as a Executive Pastry Sous chef
Extensive pastry experience is a MUST
Organized and strong communicator
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent leadership and time management skills
Good career stability and a passion for Italian food
Decisive, motivated, and a fantastic role model
