Event Security Guard – Corporate Event

We are seeking Temporary Security Guards for corporate events.

Position Overview:

Wages: $20.00/hr 

Shift timings: April 1, April 2 and April 6:00AM-6:30PM

Candidates must be able to work on Apr 1 and for the duration of the entire event.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• De-escalate any and all situations involving client employees and visitors ensuring the safety of all attendees.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols within the event area and monitor activity of members of the public within the hotel.
• Ensure protection of client employees and senior executives.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security Licence.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Experience in security is strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Customer service experience is a strong asset.
