<p>ESTIMATORTASK DESCRIPTION<ul> <li>Evaluate cost of materials and/or labor</li> <li>Prepare general cost estimates</li> <li>Prepare second tier cost estimates</li> <li>Estimate general expenses</li> <li>Conduct business cases and provide cost estimates for proposed projects</li> <li>Read and interpret plans, maps, drawings and specifications</li> <li>Use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and other software systems</li> <li>Evaluate costs prior to contract award â Follow quantity takeoff procedures</li> <li>Implement monitoring and reporting processes</li> <li>Prepare and maintain directories of suppliers and specialty trade contractors</li> <li>Communicate and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors and consult with them on changes and adjustments to cost estimates</li> </ul><p>SKILLS AND APPLICATION CRITERIA</p><ul> <li>Ability to work in a team environment</li> <li>Relevant experience in miscellaneous metal or structural steel drawings</li> </ul><p>WE OFFER</p><ul> <li>Excellent working conditions</li> <li>Group insurance, details provided upon request</li> <li>Equipment and work software up to date with new technologies</li> <li>Workplace: Terrebonne</li> </ul></p>
