<h2>Engineer – Flight Sciences</h2> <p>Location: Lindsay, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)<br> Employment Type: Full-time<br> Salary Range: CAD 120,000 – 165,000 gross/year</p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>An experienced Flight Sciences Engineer is sought to develop advanced models and simulations supporting aerodynamic, fluid, and thermal systems for next-generation electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) platforms.</p> <p>This role involves working across complex and sometimes competing technical requirements to help shape a unique aircraft system. As part of a small, highly technical team, you will have significant opportunity to broaden your skill set and gain exposure to adjacent engineering disciplines.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> <p>Develop and maintain aerodynamic, fluid, and thermal models and simulations</p> </li> <li> <p>Support system-level analysis and performance evaluation across flight regimes</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a technical integrator between engineering disciplines and project teams</p> </li> <li> <p>Apply relevant standards and specifications to all engineering activities</p> </li> <li> <p>Challenge existing approaches and introduce improvements to engineering quality and efficiency</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure rigor, resilience, and continuous improvement in design solutions</p> </li> <li> <p>Support compliance with regulatory, quality, schedule, and budget requirements</p> </li> <li> <p>Stay current with advances in flight sciences, modelling techniques, and aerospace technologies</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance safety and performance</p> </li> <li> <p>Serve as an engaged and collaborative member of the engineering team</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li> <p>3+ years of experience in fluid, thermal, or flight sciences roles within aerospace or automotive environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience across multiple phases of the engineering lifecycle</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience with modelling and simulation tools for fluid and thermal systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Systems engineering exposure is considered an asset</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with eVTOL certification frameworks (TCCA, FAA, EASA) is desirable</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work effectively in evolving, multidisciplinary engineering environments</p> </li> </ul> <h3>What is Offered</h3><ul><li> <p>Competitive compensation package</p> </li> <li> <p>No fixed holiday cap</p> </li> <li> <p>Competitive group benefits plan</p> </li> <li> <p>Company stock purchase program</p> </li> <li> <p>Hybrid work options</p> </li> <li> <p>Opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace and eVTOL development programs</p></li></ul>Create Your Resume First
