Candidate Questionnaire
We are seeking an analytical and proactive individual with a passion for energy analysis and modelling, building science and HVAC. The role will include engineering analysis and modelling of building systems, energy audits, monitoring and verification (M&V) of energy savings, and implementation of new energy reporting tools.
A passion for environmental sustainability, conservation and technical innovation is essential.

Position Details
Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Hybrid (two in-office days per week at Sheppard Ave and Allan Rd, Toronto)
Salary: $50,000-$70,000 per year, based on skills, education and experience.
Required Qualifications
Degree or diploma (completed or in progress) in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
Familiarity with building systems, HVAC, and energy use in buildings
Experience analyzing utility consumption data (e.g., electricity, natural gas, water)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in Excel
Clear and professional communication skills
Preferred Skills (Asset, not required)
Experience with energy retrofit project management
Familiarity with Building Automation Systems and/or the SkySpark IoT Platform
Programming experience (Python, Visual Basic, or similar)
