Our clients trust us to source employees that match specific specifications while providing outstanding customer service and support. </p><p><br></p><p>Our customer is a leader in midstream oil and gas services. Based in Calgary, Alberta, this client is in search of a consultant that will assist in the design, roll-out and administration (on an ongoing basis) of a new Employee Stock Purchase Plan. </p><p><br></p><p>The Administrator will be responsible for creating and managing the company's Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), managing equity incentive plans, enrollments, processing purchases, managing participant data, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This role requires close collaboration with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external providers, as well as developing and circulating communications and educational materials to promote the program internally.</p><p><br></p><p><b>MUST-HAVE Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the design and administration of Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPPs) for publicly traded companies, ideally in both Canada and the USA. This will be done in collaboration with the plan holder as well as an internal team.</li><li>Good understanding of the duties related to the ongoing administration of an ESPP. This includes internal and external reporting, managing plan regulations, SOX compliance and global tax requirements. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and experience using tools like Excel for reporting and ESPP software programs. </li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>A consultative approach with the ability to work independently and take initiative.</li><li>Excellent previous experience in the daily administration of an ESPP overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ESPP, including managing participant enrollments, processing contributions, and facilitating stock purchases.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Duties:</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal departments such as Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and Payroll, as well as external partners like stock plan providers, brokers, and tax advisors to design, roll out and administer the ESPP.</li><li>Maintain the accuracy of participant data and plan records.</li><li>Ensure that you keep up to date on regulatory compliance issues, ensuring constant compliance of the program relative to applicable tax, legal, and governmental regulatory requirements.</li><li>Develop and deliver educational materials to employees.</li><li>Provide excellent support regarding plan participation benefits.</li><li>Prepare periodic reports for internal partners and stakeholders and perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of transactions and holdings with external partners.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please note, this is an on-site, contract position that starts at approximately 4-5 days per week, then moves to part-time (2-3 days per week) after approximately 6 months.</p>
