<p>The Qualcomm Automotive team is rapidly expanding to offer optimized solutions for infotainment and ADAS/Autonomous Driving. To scale and strengthen our offering in this domain, we are seeking a strong Embedded Software Engineer who enjoys working with cutting‑edge technologies, in a super‑charged fast‑paced environment.</p>
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.</li>
<li>2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop next‑generation imaging features used in ADAS and automotive functional safety.</li>
<li>Work with high‑profile automotive manufacturers in industrial best practices.</li>
<li>Develop competency across a variety of HLOS frameworks that power tomorrow’s vehicles.</li>
<li>Design and implement new automotive camera‑related features following defined Automotive SW Safety Standards.</li>
<li>Participate in design meetings, discuss customer requirements, and formulate feature design documents.</li>
<li>Debug real‑time issues reported by automotive manufacturers during actual vehicle test drives.</li>
<li>Collaborate with research and development group to integrate and commercialize innovative applications.</li>
<li>Fast‑prototype feasibility studies on next‑generation use‑case scenarios.</li>
<li>Develop compelling demo use cases for tradeshows and conferences.</li>
<li>Propose innovative suggestions for optimizations and enrichment of upcoming hardware generations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Skills</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong working knowledge of C programming.</li>
<li>Experience with Linux build system and on‑target debugging (adb, logging, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with Git/Perforce source code management.</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of the following HLOS environments: Android framework, Automotive Grade Linux, QNX, GreenHills.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Camera tuning experience and working knowledge.</li>
<li>In‑depth understanding of camera/ISP/image sensors, SoC architecture, graphics, memory layout, multimedia drivers and/or RTOS.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of popular automotive SERDES.Programming experience with popular sensor modules.</li>
<li>Experience delivering large‑scale SW for Automotive ADAS/Compute or Infotainment programs.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of camera ISP features and functionalities.</li>
<li>Experience with ISO 26262.</li>
