Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Metro Vancouver (Lower Mainland) – Various Sites Number of Positions: Three (3) Henry Foundation Drilling Inc. is one of the largest drilling companies in Western Canada and has the most modern drilling fleet in British Columbia. We have more than 30 years experience in the drilling business, and our specialty is tackling jobs that few other companies do! We are seeking three (3) highly-motivated and self-driven individuals to fill critical Drilling Groundman positions on our team and work on various construction/drilling sites across the Lower Mainland. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist the drill operator in avoiding any potential collisions or accidents. * Maintain augers and auger trucks (greasing, small repairs) on site. * Implement pile quality checks i.e. offset installation, offset measurement, elevation, verticality and other parameters as required for project. * Ensure that trucks and equipment are safely and securely stored. * Organize the Sea can and ensure it is easy to access. * Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. * Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. * Load, unload, and identify construction materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations. * Perform other duties as required. Note: Candidates must have previous experience in our field of work, and must be familiar with the type of drilling equipment and tools we are using. Employment Requirements: To be a good fit in our organization, you must be highly-motivated with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills willing to work in a close-knit and highly functional drilling team. * Completion of secondary school. * At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in our field of work, equipment, and tools. * Must be able to perform physical work, lift/push/pull heavy loads, use hand/power tools, and work long hours and under all weather conditions. * Must have good spatial and safety awareness. * Must be reliable and responsive to work needs. * Excellent communication skills in English. * Strong teamwork skills. * Must be able to drive a vehicle every day in the Greater Vancouver Area (valid class 3 with air brakes is an asset). * Must be able to work on out-of-town jobs when needed. * Ability to operate equipment is an asset. * Rigging experience. Previous experience as a carpenter, carpentry, general laborer, roofer, equipment operator, equipment operation, landscaper, landscaping, piling, farming, heavy equipment operator, construction, demolition, pipefitting, oil and gas, energy services, drilling rig, mining is an asset.
