Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and sew fabric for draperies, curtains, sheers, and valances
Operate industrial sewing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
Install hardware and drapery systems as needed
Inspect finished products to ensure high quality and accuracy
Work closely with the design and sales team to meet client specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow health and safety procedures
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Canada as a drapery worker or in a similar role
Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and using measuring tools
Strong understanding of fabric types and window treatment construction
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions
Good physical stamina for lifting, cutting, and installation tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Knowledge of installation methods is an asset
