Arrow focuses on providing innovative design, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.Job Title : Divisional ControllerRole Summary:Our Company is growing and seeking a Divisional Controller for the Engineered Products (EP) Group of Arrow to join our newly integrated corporate finance team. The Company is the parent organization of several divisions operating in the machining and fabrication space. We are looking for an experienced Controller that can successfully multi-task in this multi-divisional environment, lead an accounting team across multiple ERP platforms, and prepare comprehensive financial statements and status reports.Responsibilities: Implement consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures across all divisions, adhering to best practices and legal standards; Oversee the Company’s Payroll and finance ERP system and lead testing to ensure changes to be adopted have the expected financial outcomes; Hire and prepare coaching plans for all accounting and finance personnel, including Accountants, Cost Analysts, AR, AR, Payroll, and other roles as adopted; Implement consistent contribution margin and gross margin tools and reporting across all divisions; Continually analyze and report production costs by job / project, with keen focus on materials, labour, and overheads applied; Prepare monthly income tax provisions and provide support for income tax preparation and planning; Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results for the EP Group; Collaborate with FP&A and management to analyze and provide commentary on financial performance to augment financial reporting; Coordinate activities of external auditors; and Optimize Company’s working capital metrics, including DSO, DPO, and DIO.Skills: Post-secondary education plus CPA designation; Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller or senior-level accounting / finance manager in a similar sized organization; Knowledge of ASPE and / or IFRS and accounting principles; Demonstrated knowledge of computerized Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems; Advanced level skills using Microsoft Excel; Experience in the manufacturing industry; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and Self-driven with a focus on independent problem solving and issue resolution.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off RRSP match Tuition reimbursement Vision careFlexible Language Requirement: French not requiredSchedule: 8 hour shift Day shiftSupplemental pay types: Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate: Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: Controller or senior-level accounting / finance manager: 5 years (preferred) manufacturing industry: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
