We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Sales Executive to join our growing team.

This role’s focus is on developing productive relationships with distributors and effectively managing contracts to reach the company’s sales objectives.

Reports to: Distribution Channel Account Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education
  • 2+ years experience in distribution and/or inventory management
  • Technical background in Networking is an asset
  • Demonstrated high level of strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to identify the issue and resolve
  • Eligibility to work in Canada

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with all TP-Link distributors
  • Manage inventory in the distribution channel (maintain optimal inventory level, stock for new products, address aging stock proactively)
  • Identify market trends to determine which TP-Link’s products are likely to be successful in the future
  • Present, promote and sell company’s products using solid arguments and marketing strategies to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships between TP-Link sales team and distributors
  • Work with internal and external cross-functional teams to address issues related to distribution operations and optimize workflow to avoid future operational issues
  • Report on customer needs, interests, and potential for new products and services
  • Promote new and focused products in the distribution channel
  • Initiate and conduct marketing and sales activities (tradeshows, product training, webinars, floor walks, e-communication, sales contests, etc.) for major distributors
  • Maintain effective communication with Distribution Product Manager, sales, and marketing team on the company’s strategies, promotions, and marketing items
  • Ensure smooth operation, solve the problems, and continuously improve the relationship between supplier and customers
  • Collaborate/assist the B2B sales team to develop large channel partners with main distributors
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Monthly interprovincial travel will be required
