Position: Registered Pharmacy Technician
Site: Bowser Pharmacy
Location: 112 – 6996 Island Hwy W, Bowser BC
Job Type: Regular, Full Time
Pay: $25 – $35 Hourly

Pharmacy Hours
Mon-Fri: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Closed Sundays

Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional customer care and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Education & Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program in British Columbia
• Successfully completed the PEBC Qualifying exam
• Current CPR Certification valid in British Columbia
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing

Key Responsibilities
• Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions
• Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments
• Provide medication management and patient education
• Document and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
• Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications
• Manage third-party insurance billing inquiries internally and externally

Experience & Skills
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in managing pharmacy inventory
• Knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulatory compliance standards in British Columbia
• Past experience with Kroll is an asset
