We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dispatch Support professional to join our operations team. What You’ll Do As part of our dispatch operations team, you’ll keep freight moving smoothly and customers satisfied by: * Scheduling pickups and deliveries to meet customer timelines * Coordinating the daily dispatch plan with accuracy and efficiency * Monitoring freight loads and making real-time adjustments * Working closely with the AM Supervisor and Dispatcher to resolve delivery issues * Processing driver paperwork, verifying details, and ensuring accurate records * Communicating clearly with drivers, customers, and internal staff * Handling customer calls and emails to coordinate freight movement and resolve concerns * Keeping logs and records for quick reporting and accountability * Maintaining a strong understanding of dispatch processes and client service expectations What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who’s organized, dependable, and team-focused with: * Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) * Excellent attention to detail and typing accuracy * High school diploma or GED (required) * Post-secondary education in logistics or business (preferred) * Experience in dispatch, customer service, or transportation (an asset) * Knowledge of LTL/TL freight, shipping/receiving, or scheduling (a bonus) * Clear, confident communication—both written and verbal * Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage shifting priorities * A professional, team-first attitude with strong work ethic Why Work With Us? * Competitive pay and consistent hours (Monday–Friday, daytime) * Supportive team environment with training provided * Opportunities for growth within the transportation industry * Inclusive, respectful workplace culture * Equal opportunity employer – we value diversity in our workforce Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * transportation: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2025-06-13 Expected start date: 2025-06-16
