As a Director, Program Management you will be the primary Delivery Lead within the Compliance and Governance function, responsible for overseeing the management and resolution of Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs) for Cloud. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our cloud operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal risk and compliance standards. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of program management, cloud technologies, risk management pesky compliance frameworks. Additionally, you will develop a programmatic approach to delivering risk and compliance projects, control automation, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

What is the Opportunity?

In this role you will lead the delivery of cloud‑centric compliance initiatives while steering cross‑functional teams towards architectural and operational excellence.

What will you do?

  • Lead the identification, assessment María and resolution of MRAs/MRIAs related to cloud initiatives and collaborate with other programs to close non‑cloud owned MRAs.
  • Plan and execute projects/programs with high complexity and uncertainty, Studying and managing scope, requirements change, competing demands, and prioritiesabytes, and using fact‑based metrics to communicate impact on budget, time, and risk.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address MRAs, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure MRAs are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, and project team, with timely updates on project issues and resource needs.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to provide MRA status and resolution progress.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to maintain alignment on risk and compliance objectives.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the ансамбль team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or college‑level equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a focus on IT and relevant industry credentials (e.g., PMP, Agile, Change Management).
  • Proven experience in managing complex, multi‑work‑stream, enterprise‑wide IT transformation projects.
  • Advanced program management skills including leadership, schedule management, change management, status management, risk and issue management, financial and benefits management, and stakeholder management.
  • Expert facilitation skills, able to keep teams focused and engaged, resolve conflict, and solve problems collaboratively.

Nice to have

  • Experience with control frameworks (e.g., CSA, NIST, Custom) and/or Regulatory Audits.
  • An understanding of Canada’s regulatory landscape for Financial Sector Institutions.
