Director of Operations
Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations to lead and optimize our global operations. Reporting to the President & CEO, you will ensure day-to-day business activities run efficiently and reliably while supporting growth and profitability goals. This role oversees the full operational ecosystem, including supply chain, logistics, freight, customs, warehousing, 3PL partnerships, inventory management, ERP systems, facilities, equipment, and vendor relationships. You will drive process improvements, continuous optimization, and seamless coordination across Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with a proven track record in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management. You are results-driven, operationally savvy, and skilled at solving complex challenges while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills (LEAN/Kaizen) are essential, along with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams. This is a hands-on role for a leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-focused environments and is ready to make a meaningful impact on operational excellence worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end daily operations across Sales, PD, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service, ensuring efficiency, predictability, and alignment with growth, service, and profitability goals.
- Oversee supply chain and logistics, including inbound/outbound freight, customs/brokerage, duties, routing compliance, and transportation partners. Maintain full visibility of order flow and proactively address risks or bottlenecks.
- Manage warehousing, 3PL, and global distribution, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant receiving, handling, pick/pack/ship, and fulfillment. Scale capacity and stand up new operational sites as needed.
- Maintain inventory control and systems management, including cycle counts, reconciliation, ERP integrity, and operational visibility for decision-making.
- Support demand planning and replenishment in partnership with FP&A to improve forecasting, capacity planning, and execution.
- Oversee facilities, equipment, and safety programs, ensuring operational infrastructure supports current and future throughput.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through process optimization, LEAN initiatives, automation, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Manage vendor, supply, and partner relationships, ensuring service standards and operational performance.
- Lead and develop operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Exhibit hands-on leadership, strong prioritization, operational insight, and high situational awareness.
- Act as a solution-focused, resilient, and execution-oriented leader, maintaining calm and clarity in fast-moving environments.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in operations, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain; 5+ years in management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent experience.
- Operational Expertise:
Systems & process thinking, operational pattern recognition, and structured problem-solving.
Risk anticipation and continuous improvement (LEAN/Kaizen).
Inbound supply chain, freight, customs, and cost optimization.
Warehouse operations, 3PL management, and global distribution.
Inventory control and ERP system proficiency.

The expected compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000.
