Job Description

The Director, Acute Care is a key leader in Saskatchewan health care, partnering with system leaders to achieve our province’s healthcare goals. Reporting to the Executive Director, Acute Care Integrated Rural Health, the Director is responsible for contributing to strategy development by identifying gaps and needs. The Director supports strategy through developing and executing operational and business plans, including monitoring, reporting, and course correction. The role requires strong leadership to foster an innovative and positive working environment and a client-centric culture. The Director will work cross-functionally within the portfolio and organization to support operations and develop partnerships with system and community stakeholders.


Experience:

  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Seven (7) years of leadership experience


Licenses:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Other Education and Training:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Licensed and in good standing with the regulatory body, if applicable


Competencies:

  • Advanced critical thinking skills
  • Ability to support innovation and system transformation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build partnerships and coalitions
