We are recruiting an experienced Dimensional Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry
NOTE:
- Hybrid
- Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, define, document, and communicate commodity dimensional requirements
- Understand, document, and communicate dimensionally-related technical requirements to component suppliers
- Use CAD tools to validate the correct application of engineering design rules
- Use technical analysis to define and negotiate component-level engineering specifications
- Lead cross functional meetings to gain consensus on technical requirements
- Validate checking fixture concepts and component control plans
- Participate in the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 1-3 years of automotive engineering or industrial manufacturing experience
- CAD experience
- Knowledge of quality management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Dimensional control or automotive quality experience
